THE SEMIOCHEMICALS PRODUCTION PROCESS

ISCA maintains partnerships with universities and research centers around the world that are dedicated to the identification and characterization of semiochemicals.

While it also engages in basic research, the company′s main activities include two other tasks:

1) to synthetically develop these chemical compounds;

2) to prepare formulations that make synthetic semiochemicals practical and financially viable for farmers.

The first task is done in synthesis laboratories located in the United States. The second is done in formulation laboratories in the United States and Brazil. ISCA also conducts field research (application of future products) in these two countries.
